I AM NOT AN ARROGANT PERSON, SAYS EMENIKE

February 03, 2016

Emmanuel Emenike has responded to the report claiming he was a trouble maker in some of the clubs he has played as he was sacked by Al Ain of United Arabs Emirates.

“The truth is that I don’t give attention to critics, I prefer to hang out with my friends than opening my phone and be reading what somebody is writing about me. Such person can’t add values to my life so why giving him attention?

“For those who think I am arrogant, it will be difficult to tell them I am not because it is their mindset and sincerely, it can’t add anything to me. I only need God not critics and he’s been wonderful to me up to this extent. For my family, they know I am not arrogant, for my friends they know I am not and I will not let that get into my head and become one.”

“I learnt to ignore critics from a reputable Africa legend in Samuel Eto’o. The most decorated African player, scoring goals and winning trophies yet, he was booed, insulted and disrespected both home and away but he’s far better than those criticizing him. As for me, I am better than my critics.

Meanwhile, it was gathered that Emenike hanged on a whopping $7.5m annual deal in China to sign for West Ham and the club may resume their interest in the summer.

“He wanted to play for West Ham because there was a huge deal for him in China, a deal that can make him the highest paid in Africa but I think the club comeback for him if he plays better and scores goals for West Ham.,” said the source

In confirming the report, Emenike refused to speak on the aborted deal but is looking forward to his debut.

Good evening to you all readers of this article on arewamobile, as we all know facebook provides several opportunities to people among which is the free chatting ability, allowing us to share with others whatever we wish to share, giving us a platform to ask for public opinion, ask questions etcetera. We can also use facebook to share pictures, videos and so many other things.

As we've listed the features offered by Facebook above, videos sharing ability is what we will take a look into on this post, in which we'll touch the facebook video autoplay part.Facebook video Auto play can sometimes be of terrible or irritating nuisance in that you might be doing something very important when that video may come to start playing automatically. Though Facebook had previously provided this feature to disable auto-play videos on iPhone/iPad, the feature has exprienced some changes after Facebook has updated its application. Initially, users could disable this feature from the Settings app of iPhone or iPad. Now, there are some changes to this method which user may find difficult to understand.

HOW TO DISABLE FACEBOOK VIDEO AUTO PLAY

below are the simple steps on how to get that feature disabled:

Firstly, Launch Facebook app on your iPhone and tap on more menu (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner) → Scroll down and tap on Settings. A menu will swipe up containing three options: Account Settings News Feed Preferences and Activity Log

Secondly, Tap on Account Settings. You will be landed on Settings screen. Tap on Videos and Photos, and then Tap on Autoplay option.Toggle Smart Autoplay option OFF. Once you perform this action, you will be able to see three different options under CHOOSE YOUR OWN AUTOPLAY SETTING. These options are: Use Wi-Fi,Use Cellular Data, Use Wi-Fi Only, and Never Play Videos Automatically. You can choose one of the three options to play the video; if you don’t want to exhaust your Cellular data, you can choose either Wi-Fi Only or Never Play Videos option. The logic behind auto-playing videos is not exactly clear but it clears a pathway for introducing auto-playing video ads on your Facebook mobile application.

How to disable this feature on twitter

To stop or avoid auto playing of unwanted, unfiltered visual content and save your battery and a cellular data package on the Twitter app,you just need to follow the steps on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. However, this setting may not work on old version of the app so you may need to upgrade it.

Step 1. Open Twitter Application on your iPhone → Tap on Me in the bottom panel. It will take you to your account. (If you have multiple Twitter accounts, you can apply this change to one account and it will be applicable to all accounts). Then. Tap on the Gear icon. A menu will swipe up with options like Settings, View Lists, Drafts, Help and Sign Out.

Step 2. Tap on Settings, select Video Autoplay, and then Select Never play videos automatically.

With these simple tips, you can be able to save a lot of your time and effort from closing down videos on facebook or on the Twitter app. You can follow the same instructions to stop automatic playing of videos Instagram app so as to save your internet data and battery.

We don’t need foreign aid – Buhari

July 26, 2015
President Muhammadu Buhari believes Nigeria does not need foreign aid if the world powers can help her plug all the loopholes that had been used by government officials to steal her assets. A Presidency official on Buhari’s four-day visit to
the United States (US), which ended on Wednesday, quoted the President, yesterday, as
telling US officials that Nigeria has the resources to
stand on her feet, and that the world powers
should help her. In the meantime, Nigeria is to draw down investments and cash worth $13.6 billion following negotiations and understanding
reached by Buhari with the American government
during the visit, yesterday. The President met with US President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, among many other top functionaries, during the visit.

“Buhari did not go to the US with a begging bowl.
We don’t need foreign aid, he told everyone, so
long as the world powers can help us plug all the
loopholes that had been used to steal our assets,”
Mallam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to
President Buhari on Publicity, disclosed to Sunday Vanguard. Whereas the President said, during the visit, that about $150 billion is stolen annually from Nigeria and many other African countries, the Presidency official said, ”Americans hold the view that between $10 billion and $20 billion dollars is lost annually through the crude oil sector alone.” He quoted his boss as saying: ”There is no organisation or government (across the world) that can give us (Nigeria) $5 billion. If we plug our loopholes and recover stolen money stashed abroad, Nigeria will do well by herself.” A breakdown of the $13.6 billion earmarked for
Nigeria, courtesy of the Buhari US visit, shows that
$5 billion is coming for investments in the power
sector, another $5 billion is to fund investments in
the agricultural sector, $1.5 billion is from the Bill
Gates Foundation while $2.1 billion is being provided by the World Bank. Of particular interest is the discovery that the huge sums being brought for investments into the country, according to the Presidency official, attract
no counterpart funding.

Similarly, in its efforts to assist Nigeria eradicate
polio, the Bill Gates Foundation, which is revving its support with additional $1.2 billion, is extending its areas of coverage to four more states – Kaduna, Sokoto, Borno and Yobe. The Senior Special Assistant to the President
described Buhari’s outing in the U.S as a
monumental success. According to him, no Nigerian leader ever achieved that kind of success in one visit. Shehu said: ” From our point of view, no past President of this country has ever netted these for Nigeria from a single U.S. trip. Overall, it is a resounding success.

“The clamour for President Buhari was astounding. He was gone after by every member of the United States establishment. He met Secretary of State John Kerry, Vice President Joe Biden and the President of the United States, Barack Obama. “I am not sure there was any past Nigerian President who met as many a number of
Secretaries of U.S. Departments as Buhari did and,
in all of these meetings, the personal integrity of
President Buhari came through.” visit
